"I handcraft all of my glass beads and fused pendants with skill and precision. Using high quality Moretti and Bullseye glass for my glass beads and Bullseye glass for my fused pieces, all of my handcrafted pieces are fired in a kiln and annealed overnight at the proper temperatures to
ensure premium durability. All materials used to complete each original piece of Jewelry Art are
	Bali Sterling Silver, and/or 14 Karat Gold filled. Any other materials used in the jewelry piece will be listed in the description of the piece created."
Artist Bio
"My fascination with glass started in the mid 90's. I began visiting local bead shops and trade shows purchasing unusual glass beads and turning them into unique jewelry.
I started selling my pieces at local craft shows. At that time, the beading business was
	really booming and I wanted to do something different than everyone else. With the encouragement of close friends and family, I enrolled in a four-week lampworking glass bead
class. It only took one class and I was hooked! There was open studio time during the week where I could practice what I had learned and I spent every available minute there experimenting with
different colors and techniques as well as watching other glass artists using different techniques with sheets of glass creating fused jewelry. That process
also piqued my interest... I purchased some scrap glass sheets and experimented with fusing. I found I was spending so much time at the studio, I decided to purchase my own equipment and set up a personal studio. My first kiln was large enough for annealing lots of glass beads as well as for fusing glass pendants. I have since purchased two additional kilns and a second torch. Now 12 years later..."
	Wendy Harris has studied glass bead-making and glass fusion with renowned glass beadmakers, James Smircich and Corina Tettinger. She is a Juried member of the Best of Missouri Hands Artisans group.
She is also a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and a member of the St. Louis Lampworker's Society.
